In Designing, you must consider that the Shadows of Objects are not always Simple; but at besides the Principal one there are several hers, thrown like Smoke, or a thin Cloud on the Principal Shadow, and for that Reason almost imperceptible: This may be seen Experience; and the Reason of it shown by rspective, which Demonstrates, that Spheri Bodies, receive as many different Lights d Shadows as there are different Bodies inmpassing them.
