All the Members must appear in the exercise of that function, to which they were destined; for instance, in dead Bodies or in those that are a sleep, none of the Parts must appear alive or awake; thus the Foot which bears the weight of the Body, must be seen as if sunk or squeez'd in, and not with its Toes free and disingaged; excepting where the Figure is pitch'd upon its Heel.
